PGA Tour 2024

 Hello,

Welcome to my blog about the 2024 PGA Tour. I will talking about the tournaments that are happening for the PGA Tour. This week I will be featuring the famous Masters in Augusta, Georgia on April 11-14. I will also be talking about the golfers who are succeeding and some of the favorites.

I am a sophomore at Heidelberg University and I am a part of the women's golf team. When I was growing up I always watched the PGA Tour and especially The Masters tournament. The favorite PGA Tour player when I was growing up was of course Tiger Woods. The favorite PGA Tour player as of right now is Scottie Scheffler.

The Masters tournament is one of the four major tournaments for the PGA Tour. The Masters is always the first week of April and is always played at Augusta National Golf Club. When someone wins The Masters tournament they get the famous green jacket, a trophy the replica of the Augusta clubhouse, and money.

The Masters tournament wrapped up today and Scottie Scheffler won the green jacket for the second time. He earned $3,600,000 for winning this famous tournament. Scottie Scheffler finished the tournament at 10 under par for 72 holes.

The Masters 2023 champion Jon Rahm passed the green jacket onto Scottie Scheffler this year. Jon Rahm tied for 45th place in the 2024 Masters at 9 over par for 72 holes.

Tiger Woods participated in the 2024 Masters and placed 60th at sixteen over 72 holes. Tiger Woods has won The Masters five times. He won in 1997, 2001, 2002, 2005, and 2019. Tiger Woods was in a car accident in 2021 and has been having trouble with golf since then.

Ludvig Åberg is a 24 year old PGA Tour player who made his very first appearance at The Masters this weekend and he finished in second place at 7 under par for 72 holes. Ludvig Åberg is from Eslöv, Sweden. He attended Texas Tech University and played collegiate golf.

  1. One of my hobbies is to play and watch golf, and I definitely enjoyed watching the Masters this weekend along with reading your blog post about it. The Masters is one of, if not the best sporting events in the world. In addition to what you mentioned, Tiger also set a huge milestone this weekend at Augusta National. When watching the first 2 rounds of the tournament, I was locked in on Tiger setting the record for most consecutive cuts made at the Masters with 24 in a row. Throughout Saturday and Sunday, watching the best golfer in the world, Scottie Scheffler, dominate the entire field was really cool to watch. Lastly, you mentioned Ludvig Åberg, who drew lots of eyes at the Masters as he finished at an impressive -7, earning himself 2nd place.

  2. I love to play golf and also watch it. I grew up in a golf family as my father still owns a golf course. Scottie Scheffler is really really good. I think he may be the best golfer since Tiger Woods. I think he is well on his way on accomplishing that. When Scottie got that two-shot lead, I knew it was over. I did want to see Tiger to win, or at least contend. I also like how you mentioned that Ludvig is an up-and-coming golfer after finishing second in the best golf tournament to ever exist.

  3. Hi Danielle, I love this blog. I love to watch the PGA Tour and especially the Masters. I was really cheering for Max Homa to win on the last day, as he is one of my favorite players. I think that Scottie Scheffler is just on a different level right now compared to other golfers. He is playing very well. It was good to actually see Tiger play this week. He looked decent the first two days, but kind of fell off after that. I can't wait to see more posts about the PGA Tour.

  4. It looks like this is a topic people like! Don't forget, you need a credible source for each post. I don't see one here--but you have a lot of info that probably came from a source. Also, your image should be attributed. And don't forget, when introducing yourself, it is good to give your name.
